GOLF CHANNEL Gives Visibility to Vision

Tune In for Special Coverage

The Transitions Championship For Healthy Sight will encourage consumers to think about sight as part of an overall healthy lifestyle, and GOLF CHANNEL tournament coverage will spread this message even further.

GOLF CHANNEL programming will include live and taped tournament coverage, interviews with Transitions representatives and other eye heath spokespeople as well as tournament recaps and discussion on Golf Central, the channel's post-tournament program devoted to event highlights, golf news, scores and statistics.

Tune in for special coverage of the Transitions Championship For Healthy Sight and messages about vision and healthy sight:

  • GOLF CHANNEL coverage of the Transitions Championship For Healthy Sight will air live Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20 at 3 – 6 p.m. daily; with replays at 8:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.
  • The Golf Central program will air live from Innisbrook on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20, at 2:30, 6 and 11:30 p.m.; with replays the following day from 6 – 8 a.m.
  • The Golf Central program will air live from Innisbrook on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22 at 12:30, 6 and 11:30 p.m.; with replays the following day at 3 a.m. and from 6 – 8 a.m.

In addition, Transitions Optical's new golf commercial, filmed at Innisbrook, will air on GOLF CHANNEL and other popular networks during the tournament and throughout the next several months.

Sports Vision Experts and Healthy Sight Ambassadors

PGA Tour Players and Renowned Golf Industry Experts Bring Vision to the Course

Attendees of the Transitions Championship For Healthy Sight will be in the presence of many prominent players on the PGA TOUR who have committed to play in the tournament this week. Transitions Optical would like to welcome all of the players, and especially the following sports vision experts and Healthy Sight Ambassadors, as special guests:

  • Trevor Immelman, PGA TOUR professional
  • Kenny Perry, PGA TOUR professional
  • Matt Killen, professional golf instructor and swing coach
  • Larry Lampert, O.D., F.C.O.V.D., and sports vision specialist and trainer

Killen and Lampert will participate in events hosted at the Live Your Vision Pavilion during the tournament, including the Improve Your Vision, Improve Your Game swing simulator where they will provide tips and lessons. Both Immelman and Perry will also be front and center as they compete for the Tournament title.
